I always love how they look pretty small out in the lake but when they sail into the Detroit River and past Boblo it's like they inflate 3 fold.

The sky is looking relatively calm now after that line of strong storm cells have moved out of Essex county.

Possiblity of rain for most of the coming week Tuesday - Friday you probably won't have to water your plants and the farmers will be thankful.

Tornadic winds detected near Kingsville. Take cover if you are in this path 1:30pm

*** I made this post shortly before I went live. Just after I did go live did the first environment Canada alert come through the devices. Again we are being alerted too late. People in Leamington and Wheatley would have had fair warning but this was intense winds just after it moved through Harrow.

To my eye it looked like we were hit with a strong cell that moved over us from the North while another cell moved from the west (a very impressive looking shelf ) I'm not a meteorologist, but these 2 looked to converge and intensely increase the velocity of the incoming storm.

I'm just a photographer who enjoys storm photography and should not be the first line of information of impending Tornadoes. I trust no one it's path has received any damages. ***
