I had the privilege of photographing this beautiful family! I met Joanne when I arrived in Canada, and she has the kindest heart you can imagine. She’s truly a wonderful person to have by your side. I changed my workplace and we didn't see each other as much, so I was so happy when she reached out to me for a family photoshoot to capture these memories! Memories of a photoshoot, part 2:

After the rush to take the photos I already posted, we went to the water! They got in, and it was already night. I went in with my camera on hand and I had to run when the waves were at their highest! It was an adventure! We had a few minutes to take the photos, because they needed to return the rental car so they could go back to São Paulo! What a wonderful day!

Depois da correria para tirar as fotos que já postei, fomos para a água! Eles entraram e já era noite. Entrei com a câmera na mão e tinha que correr quando as ondas vinham mais altas! Foi uma aventura! Tínhamos alguns minutos para tirar as fotos, porque eles precisavam devolver o carro alugado para poderem voltar para São Paulo!

Memories from a photoshoot, part 1:

This day was wonderful and crazy!

We took these photos to celebrate Victor and Carol’s one-year wedding anniversary. We lived in Rio das Ostras, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, and they, Victor and Carol, lived in São Paulo. They had to travel, but first they needed to return their rental car. We rushed to set aside time for the photos in the late afternoon. We wanted to take photos of Carol in the dress she wore to the wedding reception, but we wanted her to be in the water with the dress! It worked out, and I’ll post the photo from the water soon. What a wonderful memory!

I hope you enjoy these photos.
