This day felt exactly like them from start to finish.

Just April + Chad
and the people they actually wanted there.
No extras. No pressure. No pretending.

Everything about their day was chosen on purpose-
including this.

Jumping into the lake, fully dressed, at the end of it all.
Not because they should…
but because it sounded fun… so they did it.

And honestly?
That kind of energy carried through the whole day.

Relaxed.
A little chaotic.
A lot of laughter.
Completely them.

The smaller it gets, the more you feel it.
And the more room there is to actually live it.

Mom didn’t have to apologize for anyone.

They just showed up together.

That’s how my family sessions work.
You can look beautiful and still feel relaxed.

Tiffany & Andrew didn’t walk down the aisle.
They paddled to it. 🛶

In true Muskoka fashion, they arrived at their Limberlost ceremony by canoe, gliding across the lake toward their people, their vows, and one of the most quietly magical “I do’s” I’ve ever witnessed.

And the reception?
At Tall Trees, where the lights were glowing, the wine was flowing, and I absolutely devoured their mushroom risotto because yes, it really is the best in town.

This day was everything I love about Muskoka weddings.
Nature, love, laughter, incredible food, and two people who did it all their own way.

I honestly wish every family would do this, even just once. Photos are amazing, but films… they give you something to truly hold onto years later. A whole season of your life you can revisit (mamas you know what I am talking about)

This one will always be a a favorite ❤️
