typical Dee. not in the Christmas spirit until the last minute. 😅❄️✨
as per last year, we are recycling old art and making new art from scrap paper. the paper angels are a simple craft that kids can be involved in. i’ve found that over the years my Christmas decor has become more and more minimal, partly due to the fact that’s it’s such an effort to put it all out and take it back down within a month (ya, you’ll see that stuff up for months if it wasn’t for my husband) 😜and also because i’m just never in the mood for it. however, i do enjoy looking at the decorations and sparkly lights when they are up and when others put in the effort. i’m just more on the less is more train. my son could care less, but my daughter loves it. so I do it for her, because if these small traditions hold a special place in her heart and memories, I ’ll do everything I can to make it a special memory.💗✨
