I will be the first to admit that I am terrible with keeping this feed up to date BUT today was a special day so I felt like it deserved a post. Today these two beautiful souls celebrated 10 years of marriage and I had the absolute pleasure of being present while they renewed their vows to one another. When Jess asked me to photograph her wedding 10 years ago we were just two high school friends that had lost touch with one another after moving away from Huntsville to schools in different cities. It’s crazy to think how fast 10 years has flown by… our friendship has grown so much closer and watching our kids grow up together makes my heart so incredibly happy. Friends truly are the family we choose 💛

It’s that time of year again!

I had so much fun shooting this sweet maternity session for K+M at 36 weeks! I’ve always loved maternity sessions but they hit a little differently now that I’m a mom💛. It started to rain in the middle of our session but these two ran with it and stuck it out for the rainbow at the end end!

Why are engagement sessions so important? I always recommend them to my couples for a few reasons. It gives me the chance to get to know you and your partner - after all, I’ll be spending the better part of your wedding day with you! Being comfortable with your photographer makes for better, more organic and candid photos and gives you the chance to get to know me and my style! I’ve had the absolute pleasure of getting to meet so many incredible couples over the past 13 years and am forever grateful for those who have chosen me to document their important moments!

Where should you have your engagement photos taken? This is a question that I am asked all the time. I love when couples choose a location that is special to them and their love story. These two invited me to his parent’s farm where he had proposed overlooking a pond. I’m always up for an adventure, drive or hike!
