I am so excited to finally be able to share this amazing news.. Forestland Photography is featured in every room in a local hotel.
I was approached by the new owner of a hotel in town, they were in the works on giving the building and rooms a complete face lift and wanted to feature some art from a western photographer. I genuinely thought this was a scam message, but I thankfully went against my gut feeling to discover this amazing opportunity. During my first chat with the owner I was told they had been searching for a photographer for awhile but found me and were ok with me taking time to get back to them because they wanted to work with me so badly - they loved my work. Phone calls, meetings, emails,different photo reviewed and here we are.
It still feels surreal. This is not something I ever even considered as a possibility of happening, it’s actually insane.
I have some greeting cards available at the front desk, and working on some other products to offer travellers.
Not only is this an incredible opportunity for me, but this team made this hotel a zero to hero and continue to invest into the community.
