Bad lighting doesn’t just ruin your photos… it’ll have you either invisible or blinded by the sun ☀️💀

If your photographer suggests a specific time of day, just trust them. the alternative? photos you might never want to look at again.

Hi, I’m Mackenzie 👋 a photographer who genuinely loves what she does – and it shows.

I’m a mom of two brave, loud, and honestly slightly unhinged boys, so wrangling kids on a shoot? Easiest part of my day. Feeling awkward in front of a camera? Don’t worry … I’ll trip over my own feet or hit you with a dad joke you didn’t ask for before you even have time to feel self-conscious.

My photos are colourful, vibrant, and full of life, just like the people I love photographing. I’m a firm believer in bartering, so if you’ve got a service to trade, and need some photos, let’s talk.

I’m turning 30 this year and still won’t say no to a kids nugget meal.

My faith keeps me grounded, my hubby & boys keep me humble, and coffee keeps me functioning.

Oh, and if it has more than 4 legs? That’s where my professionalism ends and my screaming begins. 🙅‍♀️🕷️
