Final Home Game | Kamloops Broncos vs. Valley Huskers
The Kamloops Broncos wrapped up their 2026 Canadian Junior Football home schedule on Saturday night against the Valley Huskers.
The Broncos fell 30–18, but one thing that has stood out throughout this season is the way these players continue to show up, battle, and support each other through the tough moments.
The wins may not have come, but the effort, determination, and positivity on the sidelines have been there game after game.
I’m so grateful to have spent my first season covering the Broncos and capturing these moments.

Final Home Game of the 2026 Season

The Kamloops Broncos hosted their final home game of the 2026 CJFL season on Saturday night as they took on the Valley Huskers.

The Broncos fell 30–18, bringing another tough result on home turf. While the wins may have been hard to come by this season, one thing that has stood out throughout my time covering this team is the effort, determination, and positivity they've continued to bring to the field.

Game after game, these players have shown up, battled through the tough moments, supported one another on the sidelines, and continued to play the game they love. That kind of commitment deserves to be recognized.

As my first season covering the Kamloops Broncos comes to a close at Hillside Stadium, I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to capture these players, their hard work, and the moments that make football special.

Thank you to the Broncos organization and Angela for welcoming me into the media team this season. It's been a privilege to be there on game nights, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the future holds for this team.

Players, coaches, family and fans—go find yourselves! Tag yourselves, tag your teammates, and share your favourite photos!

🌩️ WHAT. A. WAY. TO. OPEN THE SEASON! 🌩️
The Kamloops Storm Hockey Club kicked off the inaugural 2026–2027 British Columbia Hockey Conference - Junior A season last night with an absolute BOMB of a win! 💥🏒
The Storm played hard from start to finish against the Columbia Valley Rockies Valley, battling their way to a 7–1 victory to open the season! 🔥
And what a night for newly named captain Luca D’Amore! Wearing the “C” for the first time, Luca found the back of the net FOUR times, including an incredible three-goal second period! 🚨🚨🚨
There was a little extra storyline to this matchup too, as the Rockies recently acquired former Storm goalie Joshua Nuttal. Always interesting seeing a familiar face back on the other side of the ice! 🥅🏒
📸 Here are just a few of my favourite moments from opening night!
