Enjoying the View - what an appropriate song.

As we finish the 2026 Silver Summit here in Colorado, I couldn't help but think back to the roads we traveled over the last three days.

Even after a decade of events here, I've rarely been to a place in any of my travels that when I come around a corner I involuntary go "wow" to the next stretch of road and the scenery. This place is pure magic.

And the people. The term "family" is thrown around a lot in today's world. Used as corporate jargon or as it is now (yes I'm aware of the irony) as social media fluff.

But how else do you describe the group of people that make up the Silver Summit community? Its more than just passing friends, acquaintances, its more than just a mutual enjoyment of motoring. We have found a group of people that when we see each other every year, its hard for everyone to head to bed at the end of the day because we just want to keep talking, like we're all kids at summer camp catching up on a year apart.

It truly is. A family.

So thankyou to everyone for making this Silver Summit a very special one. It was wonderful to see you all again.

And as always, see you on the road.

What a day. 8 hours of driving chasing classic cars through the mountains and valleys of Colorado.

I will never get tired of this. Which i mean metaphorically. Physically I'm exhausted.
