Your photographer is either documenting the day…
or managing it.
Sometimes I arrive and things are in a beautiful ✨ flow state ✨… the timeline is clear, the vendors know the plan, and everyone can just be present.
Those are the days where the magic quietly unfolds and all I have to do is watch and creatively lean in to it.
Other times, the photographer ends up answering questions, organizing people, fixing timing issues, and is expected to keep things moving.
And while I’m always happy to help where I can, there has to be a trade-off…
Every moment spent solving problems is a moment I’m not observing, and those moments don’t pause while logistics get sorted out.
