Here’s the backstory on my 330ci:
In 2014, I was lucky enough to find a super clean BMW on Vancouver Island and with the help of my mom, I was able to purchase it at 18. During 2016, the car started giving me some troubles in the fall and I made the decision to park the car and not cause any more damage. This car means the world to me because it was one of the last big things that my mom and I did before her passing in 2015. I knew that this car was something that I could never imagine selling because it’s sentimental value is too high.
After a number of years of sitting, it was in February of this year that I decided that the time has come to get the car out and put the money into it that it deserves. Through the help of August Luxury Motorcars in Kelowna, they were able to make my dreams a reality. A lot of time and money went into bringing this car back to life and making it a car that I am extremely proud of and brings back the memories of my mom. Of course, like any project, it’s a forever project and I still have a couple items on the list of things that I’d like to get done, but this was a HUGE step forward.
Lastly, I just want to say a very big thank you to everyone who’s helped me along the way with this car. Also, a massive shout out to the entire team at August for your incredible work and service. I’d recommend you guys to anyone who’s looking to get work done.
If you’ve made it this far, I hope that you now have a little more understanding on why I’ve spent money on just a “3 series”. This car doesn’t bring my mom back, but it can sure bring back some good memories of her. Love you mom ❤️
