Captured the memorial cup arrival ceremonies today at Stuart park….getting to capture a photo of this trophy did a few things for me….

1) Made that little 5 year old version of me Giddy. Young Casey would have freaked out if he got to be this close to the memorial cup!

2) made me a bit sad to not be capturing the actual tournament. Getting to capture the memorial cup tournament in my hometown would have been incredibly special!

3) it lit a fire under my butt to keep sharpening my skills to eventually have an oppurtunity to capture a championship! I don’t know when, I don’t know where and I don’t know how but I know it’ll happen eventually!

I just gotta keep putting in work and eventually it’ll pay off huge!

Very excited and grateful to have the oppurtunity to capture the BC Lions training camp and fan fest tommorow with one of my creative friends! This will be my 2nd year capturing atleast 1 day of the lions camp! Extremely grateful! Let’s get it! 🦁🏈📸

Ive recently expanded my following on this page by quite a large amount so I felt it was time for an introduction….

Hi! My name is Casey! I am a 28 year old kelowna BC based photographer. I primarily photograph sports but I’m capable of shooting anything. I’ve been doing photography for around 5 and a half to 6 years ish now and have been doing sports photography specifically for around 4 ish years. Some highlights for me through my photography career so far include capturing the Penticton VEES this season along the way of them having a record breaking season and a trip through 3 rounds of playoffs, Capturing the BC Lions training camp around this time last year, Shooting the Montanas brier in my hometown around a year and a half ago now and being on the media team for kelowna HockeyFest! When I’m not doing photography stuff you can find me reffing pro wrestling for thrash wrestling, spending time with my wife, working or hanging out with my nieces and nephews!
