Since I’ve announced a new career path with interior design, I’ve had a few people ask if I plan to fully transition out of photography.
Short answer: no.
Longer answer: also no — just with more boundaries 😆
Photography will always have my heart.
What started as a childhood hobby, turned into a career I never saw coming. It’s filled my creative cup, introduced me to lifelong friends and collaborators, and carried me through some really hard seasons. When life felt heavy, photography was there as the most amazing outlet, it’s where I went to breathe, create, and remember who I was.
So again…. I’m not going anywhere.
What is changing is the capacity in which I work.
My kids are only young once, and I’ve realized that free weekends and a little more structure are actually… very appealing. Over the past few years, I’ve been intentionally learning to take on less and failing haha turns out saying no is a skill, I’m still actively practicing 😅 but that’s continuing moving forward, with a bit more of a hard line now.
At the same time, interior design has always been there from a young age. It’s a path I always thought I’d take, and ignoring it now would feel like doing myself a disservice.
Rest assured, I don’t do things halfway. ☺️
If I’m working with you, you have my full heart and attention always.
Moving forward, here’s what that means:
•Fewer lifestyle sessions days offer
•Mini sessions will slowly be making their exit
•A maximum of two weddings per month through 2027
This next chapter isn’t about leaving photography behind. It’s about creating space for a life that feels aligned, sustainable, and still deeply creative. And yes I’ll still very much be behind the lens because I could not give it up even if I tried.
I’ll be sharing bits of design here and there, but this space will still reflect my day-to-day life and photography journey.
