Even though these frames only took seconds to capture, so much more goes into my outdoor portraits 📸

Location: Lighting, weather, surroundings, and “vibes” all play an essential role in capturing that perfect shot. I like to spend time with my subject walking around to scope out those ideal and unique spots. Doing it this way allows for natural creative flow and a chance to discover a unique perspective in every shoot.

Comfortability: It’s crucial that I spend time chatting and getting to know my subject throughout the entire process. Usually, there can sometimes be nervousness or discomfort in front of the camera at the beginning of a shoot. But after spending some time with me (let's face it, I’m a chatty guy), I can get you to a level where I can capture your true personality in the shot.

Portrait shoots downtown is my absolute favourite - and if we’re shooting, there's no question we’re going to have a good time. This city has a vibrant, fun energy that is all part of the experience.
