40 was a year of transformation, and even though 41 already feels more grounded, my gut tells me this will not stop yet. I was born in Mexico, and now I call Nova Scotia, Canada home. I’m married, and I'm the mother of two wonderful humans. I can never stop thinking about photography, and I can only quiet my inner conversation when I’m holding the camera. Smoothies are my everyday breakfast. Matcha and Kombucha are my recreational drinks. My favorite night snack is cereal. If you want to get to my heart, feed me good food. It’s getting really hard to answer my daughter’s questions about the world, but I try to stay hopeful for them. It broke my heart when my oldest said the other “what for mom? nobody else seems to care…”. They are my biggest inspiration and challenge, and they are the ones who took these photos I’m sharing here. What else would you like to know? Ask me in the comments. I will share a self-portrait on my stories per each question I get.

Even petit birthday parties deserve to be full of wonderful little details. I like how she stands for herself, even when everyone questions her. I get to make her day special and that’s a gift to myself, probably more than to her. It was so sweet that even the ladybugs joined. Her favorite part? The AMAZING carrot cake and the fabric flowers. Recipe courtesy of It’s the most delicious cake I’ve made, and also the easiest one.
