The Snowbirds impromptu flyby.
At their speed (and height!), blink and you'll miss them.

The Snowbirds were scheduled to do an official flyby / flyover of the Valley last Sunday but due to unforeseen circumstances, they had to reroute. However, since they've been departing from Greenwood, we were treated to our own little impromptu show this morning - right over the house!
By the way - they come in low, and fast = I had to do a bit of a two-step around the deck to get 'em.

I don't do a lot of portrait shots but had some fun doing this one.
It's to be included in a poster campaign in schools throughout Nova Scotia highlighting African Nova Scotian health professionals.
