What does your brand say about you?
Personal branding photos not only put a face to the name, but help set you apart by telling the viewer something about your personality and style and what your business is.
Here are some ideas to keep in mind when creating your vision:
⭐ Define your brand personality.
You want to get clear on your message. Are you a creative, professional, sporty, adventurous? Who is your target market? This will determine your clothing and photoshoot location.
⭐ Consider making an inspiration or mood board.
Gathering photos and colour palettes will help define the look you are after. This in turn will help your photographer get a clear vision of the look you are going after.
⭐ Determine how and where you will use your photos.
This will determine the variety of photos you require, the poses to be coached on and incorporating any props into the session.
⭐ Consider your brand colours.
When I work with clients, the first thing I do is go to their website to see their brand colours and how we will incorporate them in a session. Your brand colours create an emotion and I want your photos to portray that emotion. Do you want a light and airy look or a more moody and dramatic feel to your photos?
⭐ Consider the right setting.
Do you want your photos to be in an office or studio environment? What best conveys your identity? We can bring the studio to you, or we can take advantage of the many local studio options available...most of the time we hold the session in my studio.
⭐ Find the right photographer for you.
This is a critical step so you work the best with your photographer. First you need to find someone who's work you relate to and really like, and second you need to have a conversation to make sure it's a good fit.
