Photography gave me back a part of myself I didn’t realize I’d lost.
In the thick of early motherhood, when every part of you gets poured into someone else, I found something that was just mineeee. A creative outlet, a community, and a reason to show up as more than “mom” — even though mom is the title I’m most proud of and would never trade.
I realized I wanted my boys to see that their mom has interests and talents outside of this house. That she gets recognized for them. That it’s okay — actually, it’s important — to not disappear into the roles you love most.
I want them to grow up knowing that you can be fully devoted to your family and fully yourself. And I want them to show up for their future partners the way their dad shows up for me — cheering, believing, making space for someone else’s dreams. And to show up for their own dreams the way I do 🥹
Photography is how I connect to my creativity, give back to my community, make people feel seen, and laugh so hard at work that it doesn’t feel like work at all. So thank you for allowing me to do all this just by being here and following along 🤍
