In a world where something artificial seems to be around every corner, I wanted to take a moment to share something real.
I started Irena Wilson Photography purely as a passion project, to quench my creativity and express myself in one of the forms I've always felt deeply connected to: photography. I wanted to document the real, the surprising, the intentional, and all the moments in between. I wanted to capture the scenes where you look back on one day and say, “Hey, look at how much fun I’m having.” It wasn't until I left the corporate world, a place where I thought I was supposed to be, and turned this project into a full-time business that I began to see the magic of what we, as humans, are capable of. I've never looked back since.
I think it is only right to honour something so significant with something beautiful: an identity.
Working with Colleen at Stark Haus has been nothing short of a pleasure. She listened to my ideas and ramblings and helped turn my thoughts into something real and meaningful. I couldn't love what she came up with more than I already do.
