Love isn’t always simple. Sometimes it can be difficult and complex. We all have our own stories to tell. Our own failures and triumphs. To me that’s what makes it so beautiful. I once heard that you can not know peace without war. I felt that deeply. I have loved this man for seventeen years. This man has loved me through all the seasons of my life. These photos tell a story. That’s what I love about photography. It has so much depth and meaning. There is so much behind the photos.

As some of you know I have been teaching my daughter photography. She has been working along side of me for the past several months including a handful of weddings as a second shooter. These photos were so special as she was the one who captured these moments for us.
