It's just I happen to be at the right place, at the right time, keeping right mindset of capturing this photo. Believe it or not, this photo was taken handheld on my Samsung smartphone. I have taken other photos with the camera at this spot, but this is my favorite. Thanks.

For me, railroads are always a great subject for black and white photography. The cloudy skies, the older style hydro posts on the right, and the curves of the railroad tracks surrounded by the still leafless trees make for a soothing composition. With the use a tripod and shutter release cable, this photograph came to fruition using my Nikon D850 at f/11, ISO 100 at 1/250th of a second. This particular black and white shade was achieved using the "Spooky Mono" preset from Woodland Presets.
