Ryan Courson is an award winning Equine photographer based in Southern Ontario.

As a photographer, I endeavour to capture the very essence of the horse; to put on display the unique characteristics and personalities every horse possesses. I am fortunate to be witness to the interaction, the play, and the affection between horses, and want the viewer to feel they too, can be a part of those moments. I want my photos to enable owners see their horses as though it was the first

time, and fall in love with them all over again. It is no secret that the horse is one of the worlds most awe inspiring creatures. They demonstrate the most amazing strength and power, and yet are able to display such tenderness and vulnerability. My photography strives to capture the range of these emotions, to intrigue the viewer, so they see beyond the frame and into the horse itself.
