Today is 'World Pet Memorial Day'. World Pet Memorial Day was created as a special day to memorialize beloved pets that have passed away.

**I would LOVE it if you would post a photo below of a past pet and tell us a bit about them. **

This is our boy Kipling, who we lost a couple years ago. Even though he's no longer here physically, we still bring him up in conversation regularly. Some of his toys are still in the toy box. The corner of the bedroom where his giant bed was is still empty. His leash still hangs on the hook. We miss being able to feel him and see him, but that doesn't mean we have to stop talking about him.

March is here!
We certainly haven't had much of that white stuff this winter, which I will admit I'm kind of ok with!

Spring will be here in no time. If you are thinking about booking, please contact me soon. I am going to be taking fewer sessions this year and want to make sure to fit everyone in.

If you know me at all, you know I looooooove cats. I mean, I adore them to pieces. All of them. Every single one. That means, of course, that I love PHOTOGRAPHING cats as well.

People always seem surprised that I love photographing cats as much as I do, because they know that cats are.....well, cats. Cats are not going to pose, they are not going to sit where I want them to, they are rarely going to give me eye contact, and 9 times out of 10 when they are in *e x a c t l y* the right spot to get a perfect image, they spin and walk away.
*SIGH*
I know you know what I mean :)

However, I don't give up. I can out-cat a cat any day. Take a peek at the gallery below for some examples of images taken in my client's homes (because not every cat wants to travel!).

A few months ago, Rosie's family reached out to me after Rosie received a very scary diagnosis from her vet - Lymphoma. We booked a session in for her immediately, fearing the worst. Right before her session, Rosie came down with vestibular disease (sometimes called 'old dog syndrome', which is usually not a fatal condition and resolves in time, but really makes the dog suffering with it feel horrible :( ) So we postponed her session for a few weeks until she felt better. Rosie is a champ, though, and was crushing her cancer treatment AND bouncing back from vestibular disease. We did her session, and while she was a bit tired, she absolutely rocked it, and has a sweet little head tilt to boot.

Rosie is now in remission from Lymphoma and everyone is overjoyed. She's a sweet old girl and we're sending her so much love and support for her continued good health. You got this, Rosie!!
