Today wasn’t about client work.

It was about slowing down, getting outside with Hudson, and challenging myself to see things differently.

As photographers, we’re always learning. Lately, I’ve been focusing on composition, storytelling, and finding beauty in the small details that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Some days that looks like photographing a single daisy.
Some days it looks like getting down in the grass with my baby and seeing the world from his perspective.

Growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s just showing up, practicing, and trusting the process.

Sometimes the sessions that don’t go according to plan become the ones we treasure most.

The blossoms hadn’t bloomed yet.
A little one was having a tough day.
Expectations shifted.

But love showed up anyway.

And that’s what matters most.

These are the moments I hope families remember years from now—not perfection, but connection.

I’ve had quite a few people asking if this setup is coming back to Kitchener, and the answer is yes. June weekends are now open.

Four generations. 🤍

Watching my grandpa hold his great-grandchildren is one of those moments that makes time stand still for a second.

The hands that once held his own babies now hold their babies’ babies. The stories, sacrifices, lessons, and love carried through generations all meet in moments like these.

One day these little ones may not remember this visit, but they’ll always have these photographs to remind them that they were deeply loved by the man who came before them.

Some photos are beautiful.

Some become family treasures.

These are the treasures.

Today reminded me that the little moments are usually the ones we remember most.

A blanket in the grass. Ducks by the water. A baby bottle. A child laughing in the wind.

Nothing fancy.
Nothing planned.

Just a beautiful afternoon with the people I love most.

And honestly? It was one of the most relaxing moments of my life.

POV: me and Hudson going on little walks to scout locations with mature trees for future sessions 🌿

I know it probably sounds silly… but I genuinely look at everything through a photographer’s eyes now.
The way the light filters through the trees, how the grass reflects at golden hour, whether a spot feels calm, soft, and timeless enough for your memories.

Some locations photograph beautifully because they feel beautiful in person too.
And those are always the places worth finding. 🤎

Bringing the studio to you — cozy, natural baby sessions from the comfort of home.

I’ve been quietly experimenting with creating soft, timeless baby photos right inside your own space… and I’m so excited to slowly start offering these sessions.

No stressful packing.
No rushing out the door.
Just a relaxed experience focused on your little one and the beautiful in-between moments you never want to forget.

More details coming soon and I honestly can’t wait to create these for you.

You don’t need perfectly behaved children for beautiful photos.

You just need connection.

The giggles between poses, the little hands reaching for you, the chaos, the comfort — that’s the part worth remembering.

Some days it’s chaos.

Some days galleries are edited during naps, feedings, and cold coffee breaks.

But getting to build this dream while staying close to my babies will always be worth it.

And somehow, in the middle of all the mess… we still create magic.

In a world full of noise, distractions, pressure, and endless obligations… come back to your little family.
The tiny hands reaching for you. The giggles in the next room. The quiet moments that somehow become the ones you remember forever.

Nothing matters more than them.

This is exactly why I pour my heart and soul into building this business. Not just to create beautiful photos for other families — but to build a life where I can be present for my own children too. To witness the little moments. To watch them grow instead of feeling like I missed it all rushing through life.

My family is my safe haven.
And honestly… they’re the reason behind everything I do. 🤎
