It's been awhile since I've posted here, so I thought I'd share my most recent news. For those who follow my PPOC adventures, I entered our 2026 National Competition that was judged last month, and this time I entered 5 images (one being in the Masters class, and having already earned my second Masters bar, I figured I better try for a Masters image finally). I'm thrilled to share that I had all 5 images make it into salon, with 2 Merits and 3 Accepted.
Classes entered: Masters Image, Portrait, Fine Art, Conceptual Illustration, and Restoration & Reinterpretation. Kind of all over the place because it was a very last minute entry. Shame on me for that, but better late than never. :)
These are the 5 images I entered, with the results.
I have also just earned my 12th accreditation, in Senior Citizen Portrait!! Having aging parents for so much of my life made me really appreciate all the things that made them who they are, and photographing that is such a special, momentous occasion. 🩵
