Kevin Wheeler Photography Born in 1971, in Merritt, British Columbia, Kevin acquired a love for taking pictures at a young age during family outings.

It was during these moments that he grew to love nature in all its glory, whether scenery, animals, or just the simple beauty that surrounds us all and usually goes unnoticed. As he grew older, Kevin developed a true passion for the hobby, and found himself looking at the world a little differently, while always on the lookout for interesting photographic opportunities. Today, Kevin resides on Van

couver Island, British Columbia, and his interests include Wildlife, Macro, Flora, and Scenery. He hopes to open the eyes of the people viewing his images to take notice of their environment and appreciate the little things as much as he does.

Photography is a mixture of location, patience and timing. Yesterday afternoon while at Pipers Lagoon I was fortunate to capture this image of a quick moving fishing boat, a rock beacon, and Mt. Baker all lined up together, with the ship’s outrigger at the top of the mountain.
