I’m going to do a small set of mini sessions May 23rd. I want to catch the beautiful cherry blossoms near innovation place before they are gone. There are 7 spots available 6:00, 6:20, 6:40, 7, 7:20, 7:40 and 8pm. The sessions are $90+PST. If the weather is poor or it’s too smoky we will have a backup date of May 25th. Paul and Raysha had such a beautiful wedding. I’m thrilled it stopped raining long enough to get some gorgeous photos!

I haven’t posted in a while because I have been just processing my year. I would like to share with ya’ll what’s been going on with me. Last November I took some time off to prioritize my health. I hadn’t been feeling well and with my family history of cancer I was getting pretty nervous that things weren’t quite right. I had an exploratory scope and a colonoscopy. During the colonoscopy they found a small polyp but told me that was normal and not to worry about it. In January they called me to let me know everything was good. I however couldn’t really shake the feeling that things were not good. A month later I got another call letting me know that they sent the polyp away for a second opinion and that it was indeed cancer. It was recommended that I undergo major surgery with all my family history. In April I was able to have that surgery. It’s been a long road of recovery and am not fully on the other side of things but am very grateful to be alive and spend more time with my family. I’m so thankful to my very understanding clients who were very gracious as I was in the thick of my recovery. Especially and Trevor, and ._.r and .scott08 and All of their extra grace was such an ease on me. Also my team of surgeons was wonderful Dr. Gil, Dr. Ginther and Dr. Broderick-Brown.

Through my whole journey I was told a lot that I was too young. That my blood work was good. That I was being dramatic. It is crazy to think that if I didn’t follow my instincts I would probably be fighting a losing battle right now. I also encourage you to fight your battle that is ahead of you whatever that may be. I think it was difficult for me because I was raised to be quiet and polite. I’m thankful I was strong enough to put up a fuss when I was encouraged to let it go. Also if you have a strong family history of major illness talk to your Dr. About getting genetics testing. My mom got genetic testing just before she passed last year and having those results helped me get the help I needed. Summer mini sessions this Saturday!!!!! I’m going to do morning sessions at Boffins Public gardens and evening session are At Gabriel Dumont Park. (Im hoping to do them on the beach!) They are $90+PST and 15 minutes long. Send me an email at [email protected] to book your session.

In the morning I only have 2 spaces left! 8:20 and 9am. In the evening my sessions start at 6 and go to 8PM.

Hi all! I was thinking of doing a photography workshop out in Hudson Bay when I come to visit my dad this summer. Is there any interest? I’ve been doing professional photography for the last five years in Saskatoon. I started my business with one camera and one lens and have grown so much since then. The date would be August 27th and would be $200 for the day. If interested let me know what kinds of things you’d like to learn. Understanding my camera better, how to take better photos of my family, how to pose a family? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Hi ALL! I’m still here and just have been working away. I’m going to do one summer mini session date July 23rd. I’m going to do morning sessions at Boffins Public gardens and evening session are TBD. They are $90+PST and 15 minutes long. Send me an email at [email protected] to book your session.

If you are interested in booking a private session in a location of your choosing my 20 minute sessions are $120+pst, 30 minute is $150+pst an hour is $200+PST. Large extended family sessions are $300+pst and 1.5 hours. I also am offering a luxury session where you can book for up to 2.5 hours for $400 and we can do outfit changes and multiple locations!
