Sara and I don’t even know where to start.

Since October, Emma and her classmates have been pouring their hearts into their school’s production of Shrek. And this week, it all came to life.

Watching Emma step into her role with courage, joy, and so much heart was one of the most incredible moments of our lives.

And Willow? She wasn’t just along for the ride.

She joined us for service, helped set everything up, and rehearsed right alongside Emma to be part of the show.

She was part of the musical - and it took so much courage for her to step into that space.

To see both our girls show up like that - brave, open-hearted, and all in - reminded us of everything that really matters.

This wasn’t just a school production. It was community, growth, and magic in motion.

Emma and Willow - you inspire us.

Thank you for showing us what it looks like to lead with heart. We’re learning from you every single day.

Spring break showed up - and it was time to go camping with our wildflowers. 🏕️

And the rain?
It came hard.
Like torrential, can’t-see-out-the-window, soaked-to-the-bone kind of rain.
But that didn’t stop our girls. Not even for a second.

We packed the trailer in the rain.
Drove through it.
Set up in it.
And they were all in.
Smiling. Singing. Laughing.
No complaints. Just curiosity and wide-eyed wonder.

We call them our wildflowers - because they blossom wherever they’re planted. And this trip was one of the most soul-filling experiences we’ve ever had.

We walked Piper in the pouring rain.
We played games by lantern light.
We drew, colored, told stories, and ordered food in.
We went on a late-night frog hunt - because the rain brought them out in full chorus.
We had fires under umbrellas.
And when the sun finally showed up, we soaked in every golden second of it.

We went biking in the rain, exploring along the river, and wandering through Fort Langley - where we panned for gold, stocked up on candy, and grabbed coffee like we were locals.

Piper, on her very first camping trip, crushed it - tail wagging the whole way through.

There were beach walks, games of all kinds, campfire chats, and wild imaginations on full display. It felt like we stepped out of time for five beautiful days.

No deadlines. No distractions. Just us.

Rain or shine, they blossom.
And this trip?
It reminded us just how beautiful that really is.

Pure pride. Pure joy. Pure Emma.

Today, I had the absolute honor of watching Emma crush her basketball game. She was phenomenal - not just in skill, but in heart and how hard she worked.

What made me the proudest? Seeing her take everything she’s learned—l - every fear, every challenge, every coaching tip - and turn it into confidence. And then, seeing that moment in her eyes where she realized… she was proud of herself. That got me. Instant tears.

Emma, you worked so hard for this, and it showed. Watching you and your team play with such heart was incredible. I’m in awe of you, and I’m beyond proud. Well done, sweetheart. ❤️🏀

Our beautiful little Piper is growing up so fast. She is the perfect addition to our family. She’s gentle, peaceful, smart, and wise - and I love that she’s also a cuddler.

She’s absolutely gorgeous and has taught us so much about slowing down and appreciating the little moments. I’m just so thankful for her, and we love her so much - more than words can say.

She’s truly rescued us in the best way possible. Piper, you are such a beautiful gift to this family, and we are so incredibly thankful for you.

This week has been absolutely unbelievable and has changed our lives for the better. In just one week, we rescued a Cane Corso puppy - though, in reality, she’s the one who rescued us. Piper is absolutely perfect.

We also got to take her on her first adventure to the island as a new member of our family. While I had the honor and privilege of speaking at Camosun College, the girls got to spend time at the hotel with Piper. It was unbelievable to see my beautiful wildflowers in love with her, helping out, and fully embracing her as part of our family. Watching them care for her so deeply fills me with so much pride.

It’s moments like these that I’ll never forget. Honestly, Instagram sometimes feels like my own personal little memory book. Piper’s already proven to be a little adventurer, just like my girls. She’s absolutely beautiful, and this experience reminded me how lucky and blessed I am to share life with my wildflowers and my best friend
