To you, it’s just another summer at the barn.

But one day, these will be the photos that bring you back to the years you’d give anything to relive: The late evenings after the heat finally breaks. The dusty boots tossed in the truck. The familiar sound of your horse nickering when they hear your voice. The rides, the routines, the little moments that feel so ordinary right now.

It’s easy to think of professional photos as an expense in the moment - until time passes and they become some of the most valuable things you own, because these sessions aren’t just about pretty photos… they’re about preserving a chapter of your life that won’t stay the same forever

Summer always seems endless while you’re in it, until suddenly it’s another season gone by. I still have a handful of June, July, August, and September dates available for anyone wanting to freeze a little piece of this chapter before it passes ☀️

A little before & after magic ✨

For this shot, mama was actually standing right in front of the pony helping hold her and feeding her carrots to keep her attention on me 😂 which honestly can make such a huge difference during sessions like this!

Especially with kids, or even just with horses and ponies that are a little more interested in grass than photos haha, having a helper step in for a few posed shots allows the rider to fully focus on me instead of worrying about keeping their horse standing still at the same time

And then of course, we balance that out with lots of natural candid moments too.. letting the horse graze, walk around, cuddle, play, and just interact naturally together 🥰

My sessions are always a mix of gently guided posing and real authentic moments, because both are important when telling the full story of you and your horse.

Sometimes I go back and re-edit older images just to see how differently I’d approach them now compared to then

….and definitely not because I needed an excuse to try out the new overlays I just bought on Etsy immediately instead of working on the mountain of current galleries waiting for me 🤣

But honestly… I love doing this every once in a while. It’s interesting seeing how much your editing style evolves over time, even when the overall look stays true to your work. Tiny changes, more attention to detail, different finishing touches… all the little things add up

And before anyone asks - no, I still don’t use AI in my edits 🙄 Every image in my galleries is edited individually by hand. Layers on layers on layers, lots of tiny detail work, no batch editing, and way too much time zoomed in at 300% fixing things nobody else would probably ever notice 😆

It’s also why my turnaround time and pricing are what they are. These aren’t “click a preset and export” galleries. Every single photo gets its own attention and its own edit.

Right now it probably just feels exciting - finding the dress, making plans with friends, counting down the days until grad.

But these are the moments your parents will look back on years from now wondering how it all went by so fast. That’s what makes grad & prom photos so special to me.. they aren’t just about documenting a dress or a hairstyle; they’re about freezing a chapter of life that changes in the blink of an eye.

So let’s talk about it!

My horse & rider sessions currently start at $395 for mini sessions and $695 for full sessions

Mini sessions are short, simple, and perfect if you’re wanting a few beautiful images with your horse. Full sessions are a more customized experience with more time together, larger galleries, and depending on the package, options like outfit changes, black background images, keepsake products, wall art, and more

So why are my sessions priced the way they are?

Because every image is edited individually by hand. I don’t batch edit galleries or throw a filter over your photos and call it done. I’m fixing the tiny details most people would never notice. Horse hair on clothing, flyaway hairs, distracting backgrounds, wrinkles, people hiding in the grass helping with ears forward… all the little things that turn a good image into a finished one.

Every session also includes years of experience behind the camera and behind the scenes. Understanding horses, lighting, posing, editing, and creating images that still feel timeless years later.

And yes, I do offer flexibility with payments 🥰

Your retainer secures your session date, and the remaining balance isn’t due until the week before your session

Photography is an investment, but over time these images become priceless. One day, they’ll be the photos that bring you right back to this chapter with your horse❤️

Outdoor season has already been well underway for a while now, and between my new luxury collections launching and all of your support around them, summer availability disappeared incredibly fast this year ☀️

For my returning clients, don’t forget that loyalty perks can still be applied toward luxury collections as well, with up to 30% off depending on how many sessions you’ve booked with me previously.

At this point, these are officially the last remaining outdoor session dates I have left for summer 2026 before my calendar is fully booked:

I do occasionally have reschedules happen due to weather, horse emergencies, etc. so it never hurts to ask about additional availability, but these are the only currently open dates on my calendar right now.

Once these summer dates are filled, my calendar moves straight into fall sessions, which are already open for booking now. Fall colours tend to disappear quickly every year, especially for golden hour sessions, so if autumn photos with your horse are something you’re hoping for this year, I would highly recommend reaching out sooner rather than later.
