Editing all things fall on this rainy day, reminiscing on this special summer session. Celebrating the announcement of this young ladies godparents.

Her Mother’s best friend/second Mom, and her older brother. It was obvious how much love and support surrounds this family, including chosen family. For me, capturing these seemingly small moments is my reason behind this business. Knowing they will be cherished tangible memories forever.

Happy Birthday little O!

I had the pleasure of documenting this cuties last day as a 3 year old last night. The sun put on a show for this Mommy & Me session✨.

It feels so good to be behind the camera again. Capturing memories, chasing sunsets, creating art with my amazing clients. I’ve always loved this job, but I appreciate it even more after this forced break.

Today is a very special day in our house. Today our sweet pup Toby turns 14! I got Toby right after I moved to Vancouver from Calgary, and can easily say it was the best decision I ever made.

He has been by my side through all of the good and bad. And we feel so blessed for everyday spent with him.

Happy Birthday Toby, Tober Tobe, Tobes, Jiggle Butt, Chubuwamba, Slab du boeuf, Babas, Tobias Mickey III. To name a few of his nicknames.

Last Nights Maternity Magic ✨

After seeing an arctic weather warning + snow on yesterday forecast I was freaking out. Knowing this Mama was going to be wearing a summer dress by the water. But we arrived at their location to beautiful warm sunshine, an empty beach, and cotton candy skies during a hot pink sunset.

I am so happy to be creating again, with some exciting sessions in the books for 2021. It has been a tough year, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays from my family to yours 🤍
I can’t say I’ll be sad to leave this year in the rear view mirror. And the holidays will not be the same without friends and family to share it with. I’m holding onto hope that we will all be together again soon. Hope that my couples will get their dream wedding days. Hope that we will all appreciate the small things a lot more when things go back to normal. 2021 will look a lot different for me, and many others who have had to navigate the impacts of this year. I am looking forward to new beginnings, and sharing more in the new year.

When is the last time you got professional photos, if ever? I grew up with a parent who was a hobby photographer, and am so thankful for all of the memories that were captured.

I was not planning on holding mini sessions this fall. But this year has been a rollercoaster to put it lightly. And capturing memories for other families and couples is a small way to spread some joy. This is a great chance to get updated photos and a positive reminder of 2020. The holidays are going to look a little different this year, pictures make great gifts, especially for those who you haven’t been able to see for a while.
