🏔 Mountains or Ocean 🌊 ?

My dads house since before I was born is across from an estuary, so as much as I love the mountains, I love the ocean a little more. The salty air smell, boating, swimming and that general feeling of being close to the ocean wins for me. 🌊

Luckily in coastal BC, we get the best of both worlds and don’t have to choose one or the other and get the best of both worlds.

But if you had to choose, which would it be, and why? 🏔 🌊

It’s just after 8 am and it’s already pretty warm out there. The portable AC has not been cutting it and with my home over 30 degrees I snuck out to sit by Gold Creek in Golden Ears last night and dip my toes in the water.

It was divine. The sun was already behind the mountains and there was a beautiful cool breeze coming off the water that was so refreshing, so I’ll be heading back there again today after doing some work.

What are you doing this weekend to stay cool? 🥶 Or maybe you have an awesome tip to keep your home cool you can share with us.

🌷 One week left for tulip photos before they’re all done for the year. 🌷

All the details: 📣

👏 Luckily the fields have been quiet (approximately 15 customers on 30 acres yesterday when I went).

Individual minis are available.
$250 for 15 photos Jpeg photos of your choice.
Dates available until May 7.
30 minute session

This doesn’t include admission, which is only $8 per adult on a week day AND it includes 10 Upick flowers for each person to take home. 💐

You are also free to explore the fields after your session for an additional hour!

Please email to book you spot! I recommend 7:15pm on a sunny evening for sunset photos or 2-4 pm on an overcast day for the most beautiful lighting. 🌅
