Well it's taken me awhile to admit this out loud, but my newborn photography days are coming to an end. I have had a back injury the past few months, which followed my back getting progressively worse over the last couple of years. It sounds ridiculous, but getting all the good angles required to deliver those perfect newborn images requires all sorts of weird bending, which cumulatively results in lots of lower back issues. My disks finally had enough.
I'm sad, but I'm also excited about moving in the direction of my other love... children's portraiture - and fine art portraits! No bending required! đ I will only be booking a limited number of sessions as much of my time these days is spent with clients in my other job - or with my own two teens that I absolutely love being with - and who keep me super busy!
