To the farm mamas.

I see you- taking the kids in the tractor with you because you don’t have a baby sitter.

I see you- making supper and packing it up to meet the guys in the field.

I see you- doing the whole bedtime routine alone and tucking the kids into bed without saying good night to daddy because he’s in the field all hours of the night.

I see you- washing laundry and trying to keep the house in order among the chaos.

I see you- trying to hold it all together for everyone else.

This lifestyle isn’t for the faint of heart. And harvest can be the most challenging season of all. But we’ve got this, mamas. Our kids are resilient, and we were made for this.

It’s just a season 🍂 Give yourself some grace!

Our pumpkin patch is in full swing here on the farm! We love this time of year, and it’s definitely busy! Harvest is also right around the corner, so we’re about to be even busier…⁣

Which brings me to the point of this post…⁣

If you have previously sent me a deposit, I will still honour your session. However, as of right now, I will be taking a break from photo sessions until things get a little less hectic around here. ⁣

I know I don’t need to give an explanation, however I feel that you all deserve one. I have been given so much support ever since I began this business two years ago. 🧡⁣

I need to listen to my gut, and pull back just a little bit in order to keep myself sane for not only myself, but for my family too! I hope you all can understand. ⁣

These are the moments that basically make my heart explode ♡ When kiddos come to visit for photos, and end up getting to experience something they don’t get to do every day. Whether it’s watching Tim + Joe work in the big equipment, watching the trains + planes go by, playing in the crops, visiting Snoopy’s house in the pumpkins, smelling a sunflower, exploring around the barn. There’s always something happening that can make the sparkle come to life in their little eyes, and isn’t that what life is all about?
