🌲 Auction for Conservation is LIVE! 🌲

Canadian Conservation is once again auctioning off prints to support wildlife and habitat conservation, and this year 100% of proceeds will go to the fantastic group of people that is Canadian Conservation Photographers Collective

“The CCPC is an amazing Canadian non-profit organization who’s objective is to shed light on pressing conservation issues across Canada and promote natural science education through powerful, inspiring and engaging visual storytelling” and we here at Canadian Conservation are very proud to be able to support the amazing work they do!”

The CCPC has also found a generous donor that will match our collective donation up to $7500, making this a wonderful opportunity to support conservation efforts.

I have two 18x12 prints available for bidding, this Great Blue Heron is the first!

Pieceful Arts - Fine Art Mosaics by Suzanne Coverett Earls did an amazing job creating a painting from my photograph of this American Mink from a winter or two ago. It was a cool (haha) experience watching it as it went in and out of the frigid water while searching for food. This piece will be hung at the Old Town Hall (Waterford, Ontario, Canada) soon!

It was a blustery cold day here. After shoveling, then planting a ceramic sunflower (thanks A Mineral Love Affair ) at my Mom's grave, I wanted to paint something that would have made her smile. A photograph from Julie Whitbread Photography sprang to mind. Thankfully, she had given permission to paint this long ago when she first shared it ❤️ So stinkin' cute. It's available and will soon be hung at Old Town Hall (Waterford, Ontario, Canada)

All funds from the auction will go towards Wildlife Preservation Canada's conservation programs that are saving Canada's most imperiled amphibian, the Oregon spotted frog, the two remaining populations of eastern loggerhead shrike in Canada, along with rapidly declining native pollinators like the yellow-banded bumble bee. WPC can immediately scale up all our efforts across Canada with increased support.
