Please keep your comments clean and respectful. We want to ensure the conversation remains in good taste and a positive experience for everyone involved. The purpose of comments is to facilitate a relevant, on-topic dialogue between the City of Leduc and Facebook fans. To promote in the interest of fair play, no personal attacks will be permitted. The comments you leave shou
ld be constructive, helpful, or insightful. Violation of these terms of engagement may result in limited or blocked access of this Facebook fan page. Any comments of the following nature will be removed:
• Comments not topically related to our site or material being commented on
• Comments that are offensive to an individual or organization, profane, hateful, insulting, rude, abusive, aggressive or violent
• Content that promotes, fosters or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin, age, creed, gender, marital status, socio-economic status, physical or mental disability, or sexual orientation
• Sexual content or links to sexual content
• Messages for advertising/marketing purposes
• Messages that contain spam
• Messages that conduct or encourage illegal activity
• Messages that invade personal privacy
• Information that could compromise public safety or security, or operations
• Content that violates a legal ownership interest of any other party
• Unintelligible or irrelevant messages
• Messages that impersonate or misrepresent someone else, including public figures or city officials
• Messages that we feel will not add to the normal flow of conversation, dialogue or debate. The City of Leduc is not responsible for any use of material posted by users. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. The City recognizes four key dates on social media by changing its profile photo for one week. These four dates are:
• Pride in June
• Canada Day in July
• Veterans Week, including Remembrance Day in November
• National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in September
