🌻 THE PEOPLE WHO HELPED US BLOOM — That Healing Witch 🌻

Next up in our Sunflower Love Challenge is a woman whose entire business is centred around creating space for other women to slow down, reconnect and feel supported. 🖤

That Healing Witch generously joined us at this year’s Sunflower Experience, offering Reiki throughout the day AND donating coupons for everyone to take home so the experience didn’t have to end when the sunflowers did!

Jennifer Leigh Broadhead is a Reiki Master who offers trauma and hormone-informed nervous system support for women, with both in-person and virtual Reiki sessions available. Her approach is all about creating a supportive space to ground yourself, reconnect with your body and nervous system, and take a little time to actually care for you.

And I think we can all agree that most of us are REALLY good at taking care of everyone else and occasionally need the reminder that we’re allowed to be on that list too. 😂🖤

One of my favourite parts of the Sunflower Experience is introducing women to different local businesses, services and experiences they may not have thought to try on their own — and having Jennifer right there gave everyone the opportunity to experience Reiki for themselves, ask questions and see what it was all about.

So today’s mission is simple: go give That Healing Witch a little love! Check out Jennifer’s page, learn a little more about what she does, leave a kind comment, save something that resonates with you, or keep her in mind if Reiki or nervous system support is something you’ve been curious about.

Every donation — whether it was a product, service, time or simply showing up and sharing what you do — helped me create the experience I envisioned this year. 🌻 **THE PEOPLE WHO HELPED US BLOOM — The Vee Hive** 🌻

Next up in our Sunflower Love Challenge is a local small business taking your classic jar of jam and giving it a seriously fun little upgrade. 😂🖤

The Vee Hive generously donated their handcrafted jams to this year’s Sunflower Experience, bringing some seriously delicious and unique flavours into the mix!

The Vee Hive creates small-batch preserves with flavour combinations that are anything but boring — think Blueberry Chai, Peach Earl Grey and other creative twists on the classics. Basically, your morning toast just got a personality. 😂

One of my favourite parts of the Sunflower Experience is getting to introduce everyone to local businesses they may not have discovered otherwise — especially when they’re creating something a little different that makes you immediately go, “okay wait… I need to try that.”

So today’s mission is simple: go give The Vee Hive a little love! Check out their page, see what flavours they’re creating, leave a kind comment, save something that catches your eye, or keep them in mind the next time your toast deserves something better than grocery-store jam. 🖤

OAKHAVEN COVEN IS OPEN.
On October 3, we’re disappearing into the woods and an abandoned cabin to create a little magic.
Oakhaven Coven is a witchy group photoshoot for the women who want an excuse to dress up, step outside their comfort zone and spend the day creating something beautifully dark, weird and magical.
And no — you do not need to bring a whole coven with you.
Come alone. Bring your best friend. Bring three of them. Whether you know someone when you arrive or not, you’ll be stepping into the circle with a group of women who are all there for the same reason: to have fun, create some badass photos and embrace their witchy side for the day.
Think black lingerie, witch hats, horns, dramatic makeup, capes, jewelry, spooky props — whatever version of a witch you want to become.

There will be individual portraits, full coven photos, plenty of time for behind-the-scenes pictures and videos, and all the spooky little moments in between.
No modelling experience required. I’ll pose you, direct you and help you through the entire thing.
Please note that this is a social-media-friendly group shoot, so you must be comfortable being photographed + videoed and appearing in media shared from the event.

Consider this your official invitation to step into the woods, embrace your witchy side and join us for this year’s **Witches Coven Group Photoshoot.** 🔮

Come alone or summon your favourite witchy friends — either way, you’ll be joining a coven of women for an afternoon of a little darkness, a little magic, probably a whole lot of chaos, and some wickedly beautiful photos.

No experience required. No need to know how to pose. Just bring your witchiest self and I’ll take care of the rest. 🖤

Next up in our Sunflower Love Challenge is an Edmonton business making sea moss a whole lot more colourful, flavourful and way less intimidating to try. 😂🖤

The Moss Pit generously donated individual jars of sea moss for everyone at this year’s Sunflower Experience, giving each woman something new to take home and try for herself!

The Moss Pit creates wildcrafted St. Lucian sea moss gel in a whole bunch of different flavours — making it super easy to add to smoothies, drinks, recipes or just grab a spoonful straight from the jar. Basically, wellness… but make it taste good. 😂

One of my favourite parts of the Sunflower Experience is getting to introduce everyone to local businesses and products they may never have tried on their own — and this was definitely one of those fun additions that had people curious!

🌻 THE PEOPLE WHO HELPED US BLOOM — Prairie Chick Prints 🌻

Next up in our Sunflower Love Challenge is a Canadian small business that clearly understands sometimes you need your morning drink served with a little attitude. 😂🖤

Prairie Chick Prints generously donated coffee mugs for everyone to this year’s Sunflower Experience, which was such a fun addition to the goodies I was able to put together for the day.

Prairie Chick Prints creates charming, cheeky and sometimes wonderfully inappropriate goodies — from mugs and cards to planners, pencils, pins and more. Basically, if you like your cute things with a little personality (and maybe a swear word 😂), you’re going to want to check them out.

One of my favourite parts of the Sunflower Experience is getting to introduce everyone to businesses and products they may not have discovered otherwise — especially when I get to highlight another Canadian small business creating things that are actually FUN.
