To all the women who trusted me with a piece of their vulnerability this year — thank you.
From quiet moments in my indoor studio, to bare feet in the sunflowers, to covens tucked into the trees where the air felt a little bit magic… you showed up as yourselves. Soft, wild, nervous, powerful, unsure, radiant — sometimes all at once.
Standing in front of a camera isn’t easy.
Choosing to be seen isn’t easy.
And yet you did it anyway. You chose yourself. You chose to take up space, to be witnessed, to let your strength exist alongside your softness — and that is powerful as hell.
I am endlessly honoured to do a job where I don’t just take photos, but get to remind women of who they already are. Where confidence is built in real time, where posture changes, eyes soften, shoulders drop, and something clicks.
You don’t become powerful in front of my lens — you arrive that way. I just help you see it.
This work is emotional, grounding, chaotic, healing, and deeply intentional — just like the women I photograph.
Thank you for trusting me to hold that space, to honour your stories, and to reflect your magic back to you.
Here’s to women choosing themselves loudly.
Here’s to softness as strength.
Here’s to more bare feet, more confidence, more truth — and more women owning every damn piece of who they are.
🖤
