I feel like I’ve had no time to share anything with so much editing this past few weeks but just a PSA for upcoming availability!

If you have been looking at my availability calendar and notice there is no openings between September 28 to the first week of November, this is because I’m having surgery on September 28th and will be on medical leave for 6 weeks or so BUT currently booked sessions within that time will go ahead as planned. I have 2 fall sessions that were booked before I got my surgery date for the following weekend so the 3rd and 4th of October are no longer available for additional bookings for those sessions but I will very carefully do those 2 and see how things look for myself and weather for adding dates. For now, the only dates available are September 26/27 for fall sessions.

Also, I will likely be able to return to photography a lot sooner with limitations (no carrying over 10lbs) like I did with my surgery 2 years ago so the 6 weeks is mainly for my other 2 jobs. I will discuss this with my surgical team during my pre-op appointment coming up so I will update the availability when the time comes if I am able to take on “very limited” sessions 2-3 weeks after surgery.

I also have a newborn expected mid October and that will also take place as planned so please don’t worry if you have a session booked in that time frame, I will make them happen with the understanding that I will be moving a bit slower/cautiously and may need a little help moving things ☺️

I will be announcing Christmas sessions very soon and those will begin around the first weekend of November.

To sum it up, general turnaround time is about 2 weeks, often sooner but it depends on how many sessions I have at one time and can be a bit longer as well. This is covered in your contract, usually verbally advised at your session and in a follow up email following your session.

Right now I’m delivering in about 15/16 days so still under 2.5 weeks and I am spending every moment I am not at another job, shooting another session or doing something personal, editing. This isn’t a quick process as I want to give the same care to each and every client’s photos. Galleries are coming I promise, and I appreciate patience while I work! ❤️

It's been a hot minute since I've shared anything!

August has been incredibly full since I got back from my mini holiday and yesterday I photographed my 6th newborn in 2 weeks on top of my health care job and editing as fast as I can in between. Today is my first day off without a session or a shift since the 4th, this girl is TIRED ya'll 😅. Blessed but tired and hardly able to get up off the couch today 😴

This teeny tiny angel came to see me in July and initially we were unable to share but mom and dad changed their mind for a few of just her beautiful face 😍

This spicy peanut was very expressive for her newborn mini session at just 5 weeks going on 16 years old 😂 She eventually fell asleep but we were able to get all 3 set ups and both open eyed and closed eyed shots and some tiny details out of her in under an hour!

Next weekly mini date is Wednesday this week and Monday next week!

I am so blessed to be able to do what I love, and even more so when families love and trust my work with not just 1 baby, not 2 but all 3 of their little ones ❤️ I have worked with this family for years for their newborns and family photos at Christmas and I know this is the end of welcoming their babies, but I look forward to watching these 3 grow up together 🥰
