New article on my substack, Light from Light.

“Sometimes it may seem to us that there is no purpose in our lives, that going day after day for years to this office or that school or factory is nothing else but waste and weariness. But it may be that God has sent us there because, but for us, Christ would not be there. If our being there means Christ is there, that alone makes it worthwhile.”

There are days when I am convinced that Heaven starts already, now, in this ordinary life just as it is, in all its incompleteness, yet, this is where Heaven starts… see within yourself, if you can find it.

For years, I have been drawn to the image—not just works of art or digital photographs, but the very fabric of the visible world. By image, I mean the world right before our eyes—not only art galleries or curated feeds, but the fleeting, unspectacular moments that often go unnoticed.

Got to talk and play a tune a while back for a doc Adam Thom is making about Lethbridge. Lots of people doing cool things around here these days—it was nice to hang and talk about some of our favs. Looking forward to seeing the documentary when it’s all done.
