I woke up to an overcast day today, which is a dream day for photographer, then the Sun came out in full force and then We were sprinkled on by rain during our session, but ohhhhh those dark rain clouds made for a DRAMATIC image capture of this Stunning Graduate of 2022! Last week was a busy week for our household as we were getting our backyard graded and we were laying down sod ourselves with the help of friends, to running out of sod, ordering more sod, and back to laying down sod.... all in a span of 4 days! Throughout the mayhem, I had a Grad Portrait booked for one of those days. Meet Makayla! Tammy (her mom) was our kids back up dayhome provider many many years back. She approached me to photograph Makayla as she had a surprise up her sleeve for her that day. Here are a few of my favourite images of her of that day...stay tuned for the Surprise! 😉 Makayla, you are going to go places gurl! As soon as the borders open you hit the ground running and Travel that world! Hope you enjoy the images!

Graduations are not only special for the "graduates", but also a time capusle time for the parents. A moment of reflecting ALL the school years they passed and watching them grow up to be the AMAZING human being that is standing before them accomplishing their main goal in life! And as photographer... I LOVE when I can evoke an emotion and capture it at THIS very moment!
