Some shots with the wide angle lens at the U20 Broomball Nationals. When the action comes up close I have a second camera with a wide angle lens on my hip ready to go. Great fun for the celebration shots when the game ends and when the players come crashing into the corners.

It's been a week since we finished photographing the U20 National Broomball Championship. Time for a post or two. Congrats to all the teams who participated. A big thanks to the organizers who brought us on board to cover the photos. This was a new challenge for us. We do lots of photo days for associations in the area. This was our first opportunity to cover a tournament. An excellent learning opportunity. We are now ready to take on your tournament coverage requirements.

So many hockey photos this season. Lots of basketball lately as well. Here are few hockey samples. Got to do some dressing room photos recently which I don't do often but when requested I can. I can really do any sort of photo if requested. Lots more shoots booked but if your team or association has not booked photos yet give me a call. We can handle all sports and photo shoots big or small. We can provide all your sponsor plaque requirements as well.

Some samples with the new backdrops I have. Big thanks to these two little ones and their family for being the first to use them with me. Now booking for November 29/30 and December 7th for Christmas sessions.

No Santa this year. I've had decided not to have Santa visit based on how busy I have become. I'll have Santa again next year but for now I need to focus on building the sports photos side of the business.

Here are a selection of photos from just recently. We had the opportunity to shoot a few extra photos on the tail end of a photo shoot. A big thanks to these two young hockey players who posed for these. It's rare to get to experiment on ice since time is usually tight. Also big thanks to the team for letting me use an end of their ice while they were practicing.

Keep in mind MVP Team Photos can do small private photo sessions, teams or your whole association. MVP provides print products with team templates and of course trading cards. Two new Christmas backdrops are in. Fresh out of the package and still need to unwrinkle them. I hung them up for a quick pic. I’ll have availability for Christmas photos late November or early December. Maybe a jolly old elf will be making a visit again. Stay tuned for dates.
