It's not often that I have that "picture perfect Pinterest" photo session. The hidden reality is that every session has it's hiccups. Especially when young children are involved. But that doesn't mean those memories don't matter and aren't beautiful. This little man was nervous, and completely thrown out of his comfort zone which caused some really big feelings. He was hiding from me behind that tree. I continued on with the rest of the extended family shots when I turned around to check on him and spied this beautiful moment of his sister comforting him and telling him it would be ok and that he could do this.

It doesn't matter how the session goes, I can promise to always take a photo that will sit in your soul forever.
