I often talk about how much I love Extended Family Sessions. Honestly if I could get my own giant family to be in the same place I would get everyone together once a year to take photos. But alas that is not what life has in store for me. But I have this really cool job that allows me to give those photos to other families. I truly love that so much. It never loses its magic for me.

Today, I realized there is a different reason why I love these sessions so much, especially if it's taking the photos for someone I know. It makes me understand my friends better. I see where they came from, who raised them, their sibling dynamics. It's a joy to see!

After one of my Blossom Minis Aiden ran up to me and said: "MOM! I want to go to the back yard and you take pictures of me and Axel and dad and we will pay you with our coins!"

It's always such a joy to see friends from our university days! We got to meet two new cuties this year!!

When I was younger I alway wanted to have twins. Then I had one baby and I thought to myself...oh my goodness how do parents with multiple babies do this?!?! It just felt like a really overwhelming thought.

But watching R&J with all three of their kiddos during this photoshoot was an eye opening experience for me! Yes, there's lots going on and definitely looks like a lot of work. But at the very end of the photoshoot, mama held her little babies and walked them to the car. They went from a little fussy to just falling asleep in her arms. It was the most magical thing to witness. I was just so in aww of all three of them
