Fall in the mountains feels a little like living in a dream. 🍂 The colours, the crisp air, the way the light moves through the peaks… I still can’t believe this is real life!

The kids are adjusting with so much courage, and I’m so proud of them. And me? I’m pinching myself that I get to capture love stories in a place that feels this magical.

But here’s the real part too: I really miss my people. The ease + comfort of good friends and conversations that are long past the small talk phase. Making new friends as an adult takes more energy than I’d like to admit, and some days it feels heavy. Other days, I feel hopeful! But I’m choosing to stay positive and holding tight to the visits and sweet reunions that are just around the corner! Seriously can't WAIT!!

So remind me, how do adults make new friends while working full time? Because if there’s a secret spell for that, I’m all ears. ✨

✨ In case you missed it… our Sept/Oct pick for Becca’s Book Club is Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo! ✨

This one was extra fun because I’m co-hosting with my friend Taryn .milner.collective , who chose the book after seeing me snag it from a little free library (love a full-circle book moment 🖤).

I really enjoyed this read—dark academia vibes, secret societies, a little bit of spooky supernatural flair. The ending was phenomenal, and now I can’t wait to dive into book 2. I’m so excited to hear what everyone else in book club thinks of it too!

It’s been a while since I’ve shared any work here! Life has been full with settling into our new home in Canmore and adjusting to full-time work with RMPCo., while still keeping up with wrapping up my personal photo biz! The days have flown by!!

Today marks the last day of August, which means we're officially wrapping up our book club read: Broken Country by Clare Leslie Hall. 💛

This was a 5-star read for me! Definitely one of the best books I’ve picked up in 2025 so far. The writing, the tension, the heartbreak... I’ll be thinking about it for a long time.
