Every woman who steps into my studio brings a story with her. The beautiful thing is that no two stories are ever the same.

I've photographed women celebrating new chapters and women grieving the end of old ones. Women learning how to trust themselves again after heartbreak. Women navigating motherhood, loss, healing, growth, uncertainty, reinvention, and everything in between. Some arrive carrying years of self-doubt. Others arrive feeling strong and grounded in who they are. Most are somewhere in the middle.

What they all have in common is that they bring their full lives with them. Their experiences. Their resilience. Their strength.

Stretch marks, scars, softness, strength. None of it is accidental. None of it exists without context. Every line, every change, every part of you has been shaped by a life that has been lived. A life filled with moments no one else witnessed. Challenges you've overcome. Decisions you've made. People you've loved. Versions of yourself you've outgrown.

Your body carries evidence of all of it. Not as something broken or flawed, but as something deeply human.

That is why this work has never been about creating a perfect image.

Perfection is a moving target. No matter how close you get, it always asks for more. What interests me far more is authenticity. The moment a woman stops trying to view herself through the lens of expectation and begins to see herself with a little more compassion. A little more understanding. A little more grace.

This experience isn't about pretending confidence is easy or convincing yourself to love every part of yourself overnight. It's about meeting yourself where you are.

It's about recognizing that this version of you, the one standing here right now, is worthy of being celebrated even before she becomes whoever she thinks she's supposed to be next.

You don't need to become someone new. You don't need to earn your worth through change.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is allow yourself to be seen clearly, and discover that who you are today has been enough all along.

The philosophy behind my retouching policies ❤️‍🩹

From the beginning of my bo***ir career my goal has ALWAYS been to help my clients see the beauty they may not already be able to see and plant the seed to starting to heal their relationships with themselves and their bodies. That is what my retouching policy is rooted in.

I always like to be very up front about this because me and my approach may not be the approach for everyone and that’s totally okay!❤️

When I say I give direction during the entire session I mean:
✨ I get down and SHOW you the pose. Giving you tips and a visual of the positioning
✨ Once you’re in position I will guide and tweaks that are needed. Things like adjusting your head, hands, positioning of your eyes, mouth, shoulders etc
✨ As I’m shooting I will also give you things to change, such as head or hand positions- giving us variety of each pose.
✨ I will always adjust straps, hair, outfits etc as needed (With permission of course!!!)

You TRULY don’t need to worry about ANYTHING when shooting with me!! I guide you head to toe, start to finish, always!!!! 👏🏻✨❤️🙂‍↕️ You’re in good (experienced) hands, I promise!!! 🥰

The kind of direction you can expect during a session with me:
✨ I get down and show you the pose to give you a visual and some helpful pointers for getting into position
✨ Once you get into that pose, I then give further direction about where to look, what to do with eyes, mouth, how much to tilt your chin, and any other minor adjustments that may be needed. I give this direction as I’m shooting as well so we can get a few variations in each pose.
✨ During shooting I will also adjust any hair, straps etc that need moving!

I sound like a broken record here but you TRULY do not need to worry about a single thing during your session, I guide you start to finish the entire way. You’re in good (experienced) hands, I promise!✨❤️🙂‍↕️

Many women tell me they were nervous about how they would look in photos. What they rarely expect is how they'll feel during the session itself.

Before they arrive, most of the focus is on the images. Whether they'll know what to do. Whether they'll feel awkward. Whether they'll like what they see when it's all over.

Those concerns are completely normal. Almost every woman who walks through the studio doors carries some version of them.

What often surprises them is how quickly the experience becomes about something else.

There's laughter. Conversation. Moments of quiet reflection. There are stories shared between outfit changes. Conversations about motherhood, relationships, career changes, heartbreak, healing, and all the chapters that shape who we become. There are moments where a woman catches a glimpse of herself and sees something she wasn't expecting. Not perfection, not a flawless version of herself, but a version that feels real.

What starts as anxiety about being in front of a camera often becomes something much bigger than that. Because this experience was never really about learning how to pose.

It's about creating a space where women can stop performing for a little while.

A space where they don't need to have all the answers. They don't need to be at their goal weight. They don't need to be more confident, more polished, or more put together than they are today. They simply get to show up as themselves.

By the end of the session, most women aren't talking about the things they were worried about beforehand. They're talking about how comfortable they felt. How much fun they had. How different the experience was from what they imagined.

And often, they're talking about something much deeper. The feeling of reconnecting with a part of themselves that had been pushed aside beneath responsibilities, expectations, and the demands of everyday life.

The photographs matter but the way you feel while creating them matters too. And that's often the part women remember long after the session is over.

Many clients say they wish they had done this sooner because they didn't realize how impactful the experience would be.

Before booking, most women imagine the photographs. They think about the outfits, the poses, the nerves they might feel walking into the studio. What they often don't anticipate is how much of the experience has very little to do with the photographs themselves.

For many, the hesitation lasts far longer than the decision. Months. Sometimes years.

They save the website. Follow along on social media. Think about booking and then convince themselves to wait for a better time. A time when life feels less busy. When they feel more confident. When they lose a few pounds. When they feel more ready.

The goalpost keeps moving.

Not because they don't want the experience, but because choosing yourself can feel surprisingly difficult when you've spent years prioritizing everyone else.

Then eventually something shifts. Maybe it's a birthday, a new chapter, a difficult season, or maybe it's simply the realization that there may never be a perfect moment.

And when they finally walk through the door, what they often discover is that the thing they were most nervous about was never really the camera.
It was being seen. It was allowing themselves to take up space. It was giving themselves permission to be the focus for once.

Confidence isn’t something a photographer can hand to you.

It isn’t hiding inside a pose, a beautiful outfit, or the perfect photograph waiting to be unlocked. It isn’t something that suddenly appears because someone tells you that you look beautiful.

Confidence is built over time through experiences that remind you who you are beneath the layers of self-doubt, expectation, and criticism that so many women carry. It comes from feeling safe enough to let your guard down. From having moments where you stop worrying about how you're being perceived and start paying attention to how you feel.

That’s why the experience itself matters so much.

The environment. The pacing. The conversations. The encouragement. The care that goes into every detail before you ever step in front of a camera.

None of those things create confidence for you. What they do is create the conditions for it to emerge naturally.

Because underneath the nerves, underneath the hesitation, underneath all the reasons you almost didn't book the session in the first place, there is already a version of you that exists without all of that noise.

A version of you that is capable, beautiful, resilient, and worthy exactly as you are.

Sometimes life just has a way of making that harder to see.

What makes this experience so meaningful is not that it transforms you into someone new. It's that it gives you the opportunity to reconnect with the person who has been there all along.
