Happy Place

My Topic for this week is HAPPY PLACE.
I totally forgot to take any pictures of my happy places, even though I have been there but I had older pictures to show. As you can see I uploaded more than just one picture and more places than just one. That is because I have a few happy places and I am not able to decide which place is making me the happiest.

Picture 1: A picture of me and some friends. The happiest place for me is wherever my friends are. Every single one of them can make the worst place into the most beautiful place on earth.

Picture 2: Is HTB, a Church I started to visit about half a year ago and they managed to be on my happy place list quite quickly. Every hard week will be forgotten as soon as I am part of the welcoming team and greeting others, the creative team and walking around the building while taking some photographs or the production team while handling cameras.

Picture 3: Is St. Peters, a Church that changed my life forever and made me go to Church in the first place. I have loads of good memories connected with this Church and made loads of friends over the time, while serving as a photographer, videographer, video editor, broadcast whatever and lyrics whatever. (Never thought about the actual job title for the last two jobs)

Picture 4: London, none of those places would be my happy place without being in London. When I first went to the UK I thought London was just another boring capital city but it turned out that London is the love of my life. Living close to this amazing city has made me the happiest person I have ever been and I am so thankful for all the amazing memories I have made and all the incredible people I have met during my time here.

I want you to think about your happy place, where do you go when you feel sad or which place can make you happy when you’re lost? This doesn’t even have to be a place, it could be a person too as I see that it can be hard to find a specific place to go to whenever you need to forget about the things that happen in the world.

Colour

My 2022 challenge of Photography starts with 'colour' and it took me a while to choose what picture I would like to take and upload. Such as what I would like to write. I didn't just want to take a picture of something colourful. There should have been a meaning within the picture and a reason. Which is why I started this challenge. I want to take pictures with a reason and a meaning, but also with a challenge and a topic.
Usually my pictures reflect moments with my friends but this year should be different.
And this week's topic is: COLOUR .

I want you to imagine a world in black and white. A world with not much colour in it.
And now I want you to imagine your friends and family. The light and colour they will bring into your world. The world suddenly seems to fade into a colourful, joyful and happy world. With less fade and dull colours, it seems to be more of a world we want to live in.

I want you to remember that you are a colour too, even on your worst day.
You will be the happiest and brightest color to someone. And every time you talk, text or look at them. They will see a bit more colour, joy and happiness in their life's.
Their dull and faded coloured world will turn into something beautiful.

I took picture one at Tate Britain and saw a person with a bright red coat on, looking at a dull coloured wall. Beautiful paintings but not so colourful colours. The moment I saw this person , I decided to take a picture. A perfect way to show how much colour you can bring into someone's life. Even if the surrounding is not.

This picture might not show the feelings you can get if someone brightens up your world. But I am happy, and seeing something positive in this person. Even though I have never talked and interacted with him/her.

Picture two was also taken at Tate Britain and was just so colourful that I had to take a picture of.

Hey, how are you doing?

Here is a little behind the scenes while taking silly pictures.

This lockdown is not harder then the first one but sometimes it feels like it, even though I have got amazing friends around me, it still feels overwhelming. Having kids at home during this hard time probably makes it a bit harder and somehow more fun and easy, even though they make it soo much harder too.

I feel like I feel things I've never really felt before and this is driving me crazy, but I hope you are fine.

"Sometimes a change of perspective is all it takes to see the light." by Dan Brown

It's true, it's important to change your perspective, time to time. To see what's really going on or to find your true happiness.

I always dreamed of having a picture like this but it's hard if you have noone who takes the picture for you. On this day, I didn't wanted anyone to take a picture of me and I didn't felt like taking some. So I gave my camera away and offered friends to take some, as long as I'm not in it.

Gladly, someone ignored it (as usual) and took pictures of me. I'm actually impressed of how much inspiration I get by looking at the results of someone elses pictures. They see things, that I see as well but wouldn't take a picture of and it's georgeous.

Giving my camera away and letting friends take pictures changes my perspective and inspires me.

Moving to the UK for example change my entire perspective of my life and the way I think. Its beautiful to see how amazing the change of a perspective can be.

If you struggle with it and try this:
Next time you want to take a picture, take if from the perspective you want, then go up and down, right and left or even around. Go to the floor or jump up high and see how different everything will look on every picture but it's still the same object.

The same works for your life, insted of being negative towards something, change your perspective and say "this time it's gonna work" or "it's not gonna be that bad" it can effect your mood and your result, in a good way.

My new mask. Actually no, but we all try to hide. This year has been tragic and annoying for everyone but we shouldn't stop having fun. There is always something we can to do cheer us up. Whether it's a walk outside or a new hobby inside. Don't let this year be wasted. We have a few month left, the most beautiful month of the year. So let's try and have fun. Enjoy your time.

Just as a little reminder, I belive in you whether I know you or not. Your beautiful and amazing. Everyone has the potential to be happy, same as everyone can look good in pictures. Sometimes you just have to hide in your scarf 😂.

A global pandamic is frightened and scary but with good friends and amazing people, it feels less like a scary time.

I had the most amazing and hilarious day in London I've ever had and I could have wished, it would never end. But I'm also sure we will have loads of other amazing days upcoming.

I am absolutely looking forward for 2021 with all those incredible human beings on my side. .mll .ulbricht (next time your with us doro 😍)

Happy Pancake day, I hope you all had a wonderful pancake today.

For all those nations who don't want to celebrate this awesome day. Shame on you. Its the best day and should be free of work.

Celebrating the Pancake day with kids is even better than just celebrating it. Because now I'm not weird anymore with my fancy pancakes.

What an amazing day, and that was just the end of it. I was able to meet my favorite Musician again. He is so amazing and so cute to all of his fans. I just love him.

Thank you to all who made that event so special as I guess it was special for everyone who joined.

A big thank you for for making this happen and for being such an amazing artist.

Oh and for taking so many pictures of yourself with my phone 😂😂 I love them all.

And thanks to new friends () I made that day and to good friends I just dragged with me ( )
