Happy ! 🦦

Took a trip to the recently and got to watch the North American river otters have enrichment time! They were so silly, I could have watched them all day. They were given these floaty toys (kind of like a kong toy) that had fish in them that the otters had to work to get out. The otters were so excited and it was so magical watching them try different techniques to get the fish out (and then snacking on the fish of course).

When I was a kid, I used to pick lilacs off of a tree that grew in our neighbours' yard and branched over to our side of the fence. I would bring them to my mom and she would always put them in water in a tiny glass, as though they were the most luxe bouquet in the world. Every time. The scent of lilacs is forever one of my favourite smells. It's sweet and nostalgic and will always remind me of the little moments of magic made by my mom ✨

What's your favourite flower? Mine are hydrangeas, lilacs, and fluffy roses 💐
