I think it’s about time I re-introduce myself!

I’m Alyssa: wife, dog mom, “Aunt Lyss”, and the creative mind behind the lens! I’m of the opinion that WHO you hire as your wedding photographer is just as important as their work.

So here are some fun facts about me:
* I’ve been shooting weddings for 6 years, in 5 different countries…more upcoming, stay tuned
* I married my wonderful husband Jake in 2023
* I fell in love with photography after living in New Zealand and Cambodia for 6 months with YWAM
* I love Jesus!!
* My default coffee order is always an iced vanilla oat latte and I refuse to drink hot coffee no matter how cold it is outside
* I have had free Chick fil A for a year and a half and I’m very proud that I haven’t gotten obese yet
* I have a 7 year old miniature golden doodle Milo who is so adorable that it disguises his lack of IQ
* My hobbies outside of photography are soccer, volleyball, pilates, and browsing Homesense with a coffee in hand
* I’m a huge empath and have definitely cried at many of the weddings I’ve photographed
* I’m a little too obsessed with gingham and iced tea
* If I hear the “How To Train Your Dragon” theme song or “One Day More” from “Les Miserables” I may start crying
* Hyping other people up brings me so much joy

I hope that paints a little picture of who I am and the way I see the world around us!

This darling girl is one of the 11 little ones who I’ve gotten to meet this wedding off-season. There’s something so special about getting to document those precious first moments together as a family.
