It’s finally official. In July, almost 3 years to the day of our wedding anniversary, I traveled to the embassy to complete my immigration interview and finally received my permanent residency in the USA🥹🇺🇸
After many years of patience and long distance, I am officially allowed to stay permanently in the same country as my husband and daughter😭 This is a huge emotional milestone we’ve waited so long for.
Marrying my American boy has brought many adventures; we met, got married and purchased property in North Carolina, bought our first home when Josh worked in Texas, gave birth to our beautiful daughter while we lived in Florida, and our next adventure has taken us to our newest home base of Utah.
I’m excited now that I am officially a resident of the USA I can officially open my bookings to the Salt Lake City area and beyond. I may be spending a lot of my time in the States, but I will always still book work in Ontario as I’m frequently back and forth!🇨🇦 I will never forget where I came from, my first home was here, I am still very much tied to where my family, friends, loved ones are in London and after all it’s where my career started, grew and flourished. I will never stop taking photos where it all began.
Bouncing back and forth between countries has become part of my norm, our passports have seen a lot of milage — but here’s to finally being able to share a home address and not just a last name with Josh🥲 It’s been a long time coming.
