Meet Tatiana. She is my latest MAVERICK.

She has a PhD. She's a founder several times over. And she'll tell you she is VERY introverted. Sit with that for a second. Everything she has built, she built while being the person who'd honestly rather not be the centre of attention. She is proof that labels are not constraints.

When Tatiana looked at her photos, before any editing, she said she felt confident again. Less shame. That right there is why I do this.

Time to meet our next MAVERICK: Shahmeen Sadiq the founder of Wise Women Strong.

I was so excited when I saw that Shahmeen had applied to be a part of my Maverick project. I had worked with her before and was so blown away by her energy and passion. When we got on the phone to talk about her latest venture, Wise Women Strong, I knew immediately, that she was perfect for the Maverick campaign.

Shahmeen chose this photo because she felt it captured a softer and more playful version of her. I love that she is playing with her magnificent hair. Meet our first MAVERICK! Melissa Maloney of All Women LEAD- Leverage Empower Achieve Do

I was so excited when I saw that Melissa had applied to be a part of my Maverick project. I had attended two of her big events and her speak at another event, and was struck by her unwavering authenticity and passion. She is perfect for this campaign.

PHOTOPHOBIA....is this YOU?

It is time to reshare this blogpost because I know it is still true for so many women. STOP IT!

I have had conversations with so many women since I started my business and i can say, that almost all of the suffer from some sort of photophobia. Now I get it, because they have 100s if not 1000s of photos on their phones as proof that they are not photogenic.

But here is the secret: your family loves you JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.

They won’t love you more if you lost 10 pounds.
Or if you knew how to apply the makeup just right.
Or if you didn’t have stretch marks where there shouldn’t be stretch marks.

They love you. YOU.

Don’t leave behind a legacy of no images of you. Because when you are gone, it will be the most important things they have. My mom did not leave me many photos and that will be my eternal regret.

So this Mother's Day, why don't you book a session with me so that you can leave behind a legacy for the people that love you.
