In an attempt to get a bit more balance of work and life and using this app like it’s still 2014 we’re going to start posting more…. More about photography… more about our life and our travels. More about everything. And that felt like it deserved a name and bio makeover!!

The same but different.

One of the things we do when we plan your newborn session is choose the colours and decorative vibes you’re looking for!
Miss D’s mama requested neutrals, and warmth and pinks. She also mentioned incorporating spring/ Easter and as an add, I’ve photographed both her big sisters’ newborn sessions. So I wanted them to coordinate with each other but not use any of the exact same items (raise your hand if you’d had to check dates on baby photos to know which kid it was🙋‍♀️)

Once we have all those deets, I plan the posing flow and make sure that each pose and prop flows from the previous, you can similar colours and textures from photo to photo so they’re all different but complement each other.

It’s *almost* time to start packing my camera bag for wedding season!!
Every wedding photographer ever has a some kind of system, for their bag and lawd help you if you mess with it!! Here are a few of my camera bag staples and some failed attempts at changing how I roll 🤣!

Oh haiiiiii!!!

So I took a minute away from the gram… and that minute turned into almost a month! 😳. Sorry! But also not sorry!

It was the greatest month ever! It can get a little bit mind blowing how much we become a slave to this app; all in the name of growing our businesses!!

I am excited for the 2025 season! There are a few exciting things planned for this space and for the Aiden Laurette brand!
There will be weddings! There will be babies! There will be travel! It will be wonderful!
